Registration is now open for the 2021 Wisconsin Contraceptive Care Summit, coming up March 5, 2021. Join an inclusive group of practitioners and community experts to learn the latest in person-centered and equitable access to contraceptive care.
Join CORE and our partners in the morning for two exciting presentations on reproductive justice, equity, and health care access. Dr. Christine Dehlendorf (University of California, San Francisco) will present “Beyond Same-Day Long-Acting Reversible Contraceptive Access: A Person-Centered Framework for Advancing High-Quality, Equitable Contraceptive Care.”
Reproductive justice champion and human rights activist Loretta J. Ross will present the second plenary. Ms. Ross is an Associate Professor at Smith College in Northampton, MA in the Program for the Study of Women and Gender.
In addition to the keynote presentations on reproductive justice and person-centered contraceptive care, the Wisconsin Contraceptive Care Summit offers virtual training on contraceptive counseling, addressing bias in health care, contraception policy, reproductive health care during COVID, long-acting reversible contraception insertion, and much more.
Equity and access are key themes of the Wisconsin Contraceptive Care Summit, and that applies to attendance, too. Scholarships are available to support attendance for everyone in our community.
This activity is intended for individuals working in health care, public health, community, policy, research, advocacy, and educational settings. More information on Continuing Education credits and accreditation is available here.
