Graduate and Professional Students
Graduate and professional students, as well as postdoctoral fellows, are encouraged to get involved with the UW Collaborative for Reproductive Equity (CORE) through CORE Lab.
CORE Lab is a collaborative space to increase and share knowledge about reproductive health and equity in the U.S. and Wisconsin. Lab members receive training in rigorous research methods and approaches to studying reproductive health and equity. Additionally, members benefit from a supportive, constructive community in Lab sessions and an online team platform.
During the academic year, CORE Lab convenes weekly for one hour. CORE’s leadership, staff, interns, and UW faculty also participate.
Sessions vary from week to week. Agenda items can include news updates, research project updates, journal clubs, professional development sessions, and presentations from outside speakers.
Undergraduate Students
CORE’s commitment to training the next generation extends to our undergraduate internship program. We are not hiring for spring 2026; the next opportunity will be in fall 2026 at the earliest.

Undergraduate interns work with CORE staff, who provide skilled support for CORE’s activities. Interns receive hands-on experience in supporting and disseminating research, as well as professional development.
If you are a UW student interested in potential future opportunities, please fill out the CORE Interest Form.
Note: Undergraduate involvement with CORE is facilitated exclusively through our internship program. We do not expect to hire new undergraduate interns until fall 2026 or later.
