Mar is a doctoral student in Consumer Behavior & Family Economics. She studies how behavioral economics and public health intersect to address contraception access, poverty, and child maltreatment prevention. Drawing on professional and academic research experience, she focuses on how structural and policy barriers shape reproductive healthcare and child well-being—especially in lower income and racially marginalized communities.
