Taryn has been working on CORE projects since 2019, including serving as Research Assistant for the Patient and Provider Experiences with Medication Abortion in Wisconsin and People’s Abortion Barriers, Decisions, and Experiences as Documented in Anonymous Online Spaces projects.
Taryn studies sexual and reproductive health in the US and Latin America, researching contraception and abortion to learn about the ways marginalized and Indigenous women interact with healthcare systems.
Taryn received her PhD in Anthropology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2025.
