Welcome Allison Hung, research coordinator

Allison Hung, CORE research coordinator

CORE is delighted to introduce a new member of our team — Allison Hung, research coordinator. In this role, her support will help to ensure the success of CORE’s research portfolio.

Prior to joining CORE, Allison provided project management and research support for Veterans Affairs- and National Institutes of Health-funded trials of weight management interventions and the VA clinical pharmacogenomic testing program. She developed and implemented research methodologies, procedures, and criteria to support research aims. Before that, she assisted with the enrollment of eligible providers into Wisconsin’s COVID-19 Vaccine Program with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.

Allison is a University of Wisconsin–Madison alumna, earning a bachelor’s degree in neurobiology. She also brings a master’s degree in public health from Boston University, where she focused her studies on epidemiology and biostatistics with a certificate in infectious disease. She spends her free time baking, traveling, and being outdoors.
