Welcome Meghan Lepisto, Communications Manager

CORE is delighted to introduce a new member to our team–Meghan Lepisto, CORE Communications Manager. Meghan will lead and manage communications for CORE research projects and operations. Her role will include sharing CORE research findings and evidence with diverse audiences and developing media- and policy-relevant communications.

She has worked at UW–Madison for the past 12 years, most recently serving as publications and media relations manager with the UW School of Veterinary Medicine and previously as communications manager for the Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies. Before that, she managed and produced communications for two national nonprofit organizations in the Washington, D.C. area.

A UW–Madison alumna, Meghan earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Life Sciences Communication. She is passionate about translating research insights and impacts into accessible, relevant communications.

Meghan was born and raised in rural southern Wisconsin and lives in Madison. She enjoys time with family and friends, gardening, exploring nature, traveling, and more.

She looks forward to highlighting CORE’s research, projects, and people, and is thrilled for the opportunity to support reproductive health, equity, and autonomy.
