Welcome Aisha Anderson, program coordinator

Photo of Aisha Anderson, CORE program coordinatorCORE is delighted to introduce a new member of our team — Aisha Anderson, program coordinator. In this role, Aisha keeps CORE’s work running smoothly across research, engagement, dissemination, and training initiatives. She manages a wide range of administrative and operational functions, coordinates events, and cultivates relationships with campus and external partners to strengthen CORE’s impact.

Prior to joining CORE, Aisha served as a digital communications specialist in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, where she coordinated communications across a multi-stakeholder environment.

Before SMPH, Aisha deepened her community engagement skills through two complementary roles as communications manager at the Environmental Justice and Infrastructure Initiative and as clean energy outreach specialist at RENEW Wisconsin. Together, these roles taught her how to build trust with diverse stakeholders, translate complex policy information for general audiences, and develop outreach strategies that center the communities most impacted by systemic inequities.

Aisha studied Life Sciences Communications at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. When she is not working, you can find her spending time with her pets (three kitties and a border collie), meal prepping, or drinking too many espressos at her local cafe.
